ASHA KIRAN SCHEME

Buniyaad continues to invest resources in its mission and launched the Asha Kiran Scheme. The aim of this Scheme is to provide Financial Assistance to deserving ex-students for their future pre-primary and primary education, in English medium, which lasts approx. 6 years (Junior KG to Std.IV).

Pre-Primary education costs approx.Rs.11,000 p.a. and Primary approx.Rs.13,000/- p.a. per child.

Under the scheme, students at all our Nurseries are monitored throughout the academic year. Good performers both in academics as well as extra-curricular activities are identified. Their economic background is assessed by a team who visit the homes of such students, meet the family members, conduct brief enquiry and submit the report for purposes of selection. Follow up visits/meetings, counselling, review of the child's continued performance in the subsequent years is also conducted by the team.

An earnest appeal is made to All for supporting the Scheme by supporting/sponsoring one child or more every year.
